Preview:

Down the Rabbit Hole is the memoir of former Hugh Hefner girlfriend and former star of The Girls Next Door, Holly Madison. By 2002, Holly was Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend at the Playboy Mansion, but she felt that she had sold her soul for a piece of fame. She was miserable, even borderline suicidal, as she played the role of girlfriend to a demanding tycoon old enough to be her grandfather. Life inside the mansion turned out to be toxic as Hefner’s seven live-in girlfriends clawed at each other. Holly knew Hefner would just replace her with another blonde if she did kill herself. She decided to stay alive so she could tell her story someday.
When nine-year-old Holly Madison got a set of Marilyn Monroe paper dolls for Christmas, she began fantasizing about Marilyn’s glamorous life. Growing up in Alaska and Oregon, she never fit in with the other small-town kids, who were obsessed with sports and videogames. Instead, Holly watched Marilyn’s movies and fantasized about Hollywood…

  • Life isn't always greener

The easy life isn't always the great as told by Holly madison, she basically got the live of luxury with Hugh Hefner but didn't actually enjoy it, though its protrayed as a great place to live, well we know now it might not always be. This is a pretty good summary of her book.

  • Down the Rabbit Hole

I have always wanted to read this book, but never got the chance until now. This book does a great job at explaining and giving a good story about Holly Madison. It is full of surprises and plot twists, which makes it an interesting read to enjoy.

  • Great tale on a woman's dream gone wrong

Great read and take on "Holly Madison's" life as one of "Hugh Hefner’s" girlfriends. As she started out young and then soon got into hollywood and the like. All the way to how she got into the lifestyle and what it felt like to be expected of. Then to see how she finally managed to get away from it all and stay away from it was an amazing feat for her in itself.
