Even with shoddy editing the story line was fairly well presented. It is more like a loss leader in the grocery store meant to lure in foolish customers and entice another sale rather than entertain. Too bad the author is not creative enough to write stand alone stories.

Being new to this genre and author, lt was not easy to understand. Thankfully the shape shifting was pointedly expressed. The first bookwas ok. However this gnre is not m y cup of tea.

The main wolf in this tale isGideon. His mate is a submissive wolf. Apparently this is a no no for an alpha wolf. Gideon has worked it out for himself. She showing up prevents hm from having a mate chosen for him by the Counsel. His uncle tries to wrench control of the pack away from the alpha.

Ms. Ryan can really weave a story. My first but NOT the last, luv the characters and the intensity of their relationships is beyond most all authors. Easily (5) Stars! JB
