This has a female FBI Profiler on a serial killer mystery! I truly hope there are not so many of these in reality as are written, that is a trip to think that may be truly prevalent! I like Mac White as a character, she is wise but persistent when she senses something incorrect!

All the series and books within follow the SAME thread. Female lead gets a case, almost gets kicked off the case or actually does by a superior for some heroic act, female lead ignores superior, almost finds the killer, has the wrong guy, actually finds the killer, performs more heroics, superior is less mad. The End. Don’t forget the drama in the personal life. I like the characters but mix up the plot order at least a little.
