Excellent writing and unique story lines are key to keeping the reader interested and purchasing the next book in the series. My 4 star rating is not based on content, which is excellent, but rather the length of the series. I think some of the content could be scrubbed and condensed to move the story along more quickly and would have no effect on the quality of the books or the series.
