I downloaded this iBook so that I can read with my 8 year old who is starting to learn French at school. The book explain that it is appropriate for 7-12 year-olds but I was still worried that my son would not be able to keep up as at first glance it seemed quite a lot to digest – I am a complete beginner at French myself. But, I was pleasantly surprised! We have been going through the audiobook almost every night, he is picking up the vocabulary so quickly and the grammar seems to just come naturally now. Even I am picking up words and phrases without even trying! This iBook is a great way to teach young children French in a fun and engaging way. The book comes with audio in both French and English so that you can check your pronunciation, and having the book split into paragraphs of French then English makes it easy to digest and learn as you go! Love it.
