A perfect way for your pre-teen child to learn French. As the title states you are presented with 10 short stories written in both English and French, broken in to sections, with the French version written first followed by the English translation. At the beginning of each story you can play either the English or French narration to listen to while reading along. This presents multiple ways to learn and apply what is learned in the book. Listening in French while reading in English is a neat way to pick up meaning, as is listening in English and reading the French text. Listening in French while reading the French text then pulls it all together. The stories are of a reasonable length, are appropriate for the targeted age range, and are varied enough to be sure there is the right story to engage your child! All in all a great book!

It allows the reader to listen and read in English and in French so that you can really become immersed in the storyline even if you are a beginner to the language.
