• Solid development, characters

  The characters in this series are well developed and engaging. The reader wants to follow them as they pursue their hopes and dreams. We are a bit disappointed that Haley does not get to know her father. But, it’s a coming of age story with a hot romance. Nice sex scenes and good pacing. We like the way the female protagonist overcomes the villains. Good book! Nice work!

• Didn’t like the third book

  Even though it’s the third book of the Wicked series, I didn’t really like this one. I know it’s was an lead in toward the final book, Forever Wicked but I didn’t like Haley very much. Yeah she somewhat matured over the three years being separated from Jax after he left Wicked and broke up with Haley because he wanted to retire from being a professional musician to raise his young daughter, Annie. I admire Jax wanting to walk away from his music career to want to raise his daughter full time and giving the love & care his child needs. It’s admirable. The chemistry between Jax and Haley continued to sizzle despite of the way they separated due to Haley choosing to run her late estranged father’s record music company over her relationship with Jax. This was leading up to the final book to Forever Wicked.

  I finally get the ending that I wanted from book 2. I wanted to smack Jax upside the head for what happened at the end of Bad Girl. I cried hard over that but this ending made me so happy again.
