Private investigators Liz Talbot and Nate Andrews are all set to enjoy some quality time on the beach. That’s until they get the news about Darius. Susan Boyer, you never seem to disappoint! Your descriptions of Charleston and the surrounding areas are amazing. And let’s not forget about the food! The scene with Liz, Nate, and their two murder witnesses was incredible. You definitely had me wanting to be there and share in their fine dining experience! Looking forward to at least the next two Liz books, especially the Christmas one! I also can’t wait to see what Nate has up his sleeve for the upcoming holidays.

I have read them all and love them but this was extra special .Wow! The characters were great, new ones and old ones. I like Nate stepping up now. Liz’s parents are fabulous, I think I know them personally lol. Darius is hilarious, I hope he will be back. Keep writing this this series I can’t wait to read more

Liz and Nate should be couple of the year. Susan takes this couple into some of the hairiest situations, best restaurants with such detail to the food, and the charm of the low country. I didn’t see the ending results coming right off. There were so many choices of the “who did it” and scenarios. I’m Looking forward to the audio version coming out too.
