This book had more of the humor and tantalizing teasing of conversation that was what first attracted me to KA’s writing. I hadn’t realized how much I missed that back and forth banter and the unexpected delight of not knowing what would cause eye crinkles or soft faces like what I had adored in the Mystery Man or Rock Chick Series. So it was nice to read because I liked the surprises of not having every thing spelled out for me. It’s fun for a reader to be surprised along with the lead characters. This is a quick and light read and sets up Peppers story nicely. Axl and Hattie are adorable.

I honestly just don't want these books to end. I don't always love the start of KA books due to the angst that is always there before the couple get together but boy when they get together, I absolutely love how the men are with their woman. KA men are very protective and treat their woman so good. Granted I have not read all of her books yet but I'm close and this is generally the formula and I LOVE IT. I'm always left wanting more. In Dream Spinner there seemed to be extra couple time between Axl and Hattie, which really puts this over the top goodness for me. I love couple time. I love seeing how a couple get to know each other and have each others back. It's one of my favorite things to read in a romance book. You totally get that in this book. I'm really looking forward to book 4. The teaser at the end makes me nervous because the beginning may be even more angsty than usual, but I know the middle and end will be worth every bit of that angst.
