4 Stars. This one was different from what I have come to expect from Connelly. Actually , kind of a different book than anything I have read. Original. Good. I find myself wondering if there will ever be more of Cassidy Black. I’m not aware that Connelly ever writes more about her. I’d read it though.

After reading every one of Michael Connelly’s Bosch, Haller, (et al) books, I discovered this gem. Couldn’t put it down! I love the way Connelly weaves his tale….hooks me immediately from page 1 …and holds me all the way to the last page.

Hard to like when even the protagonist is an active criminal. Bosch may be flawed, but honest. Stopped reading about 3/4 of the way through.
