Dark of the Moon

Dark of the Moon

The first Virgil Flowers novel from #1 New York Times bestselling author John Sandford.

One needs to make huge guesses and assumptions to even follow the poorly explained plot.

  • Smart and fun!

I’m a fan of good crime writers like Robert B Parker and Ace Atkins. I’m also a fan of Parker’s star, Spenser. John Sandford’s Virgil Flowers is on a par with the best of Parker’s earlier efforts, with convoluted plots, witty banter and satisfying resolution. Funny and smart. I’ve read all 12 of the Flowers series and am going through them again for the pure reading delight, while awaiting further efforts.
