I love Yellowstone Park and Jackson, and I could picture each scene in this brilliant and exciting novel. Box really keeps you on the edge of your seat as you follow the action. May be his best Joe Pickett yet.

To begin, a truly outstanding read!!!! Joe Pickett recently fired from his job as a Wyoming game warden has been working on his father in laws ranch when he is contacted by the governors office and offered a job and a relocation to Yellowstone national park to investigate the murders of park employees by an attorney who was not prosecuted due to a jurisdictional clause in the parks bylaws. What unfolds are layers of deceit , betrayal by park rangers, the governors chief aide and all for the oldest motivator in history….money. This fantastic read has my highest recommendation!! Enjoyed immensely!!

Absolutely the BEST novel of CJ Box I’ve read, and that group includes over twenty novels. Can’t wait to return to Yellowstone, and thus time with far greater awe of its’ uniqueness and appreciation of its’ role upon planet Earth. CJ, please keep’m coming! Thank you
