I usually read mysteries or thrillers but I was totally engrossed in “In Her Shoes”. I alternated pulling for Rose and then her sister. Loved every word and will have to rethink my choice of literature.

Story was okay, kept reading...waiting for big drama, but found the last page first...not a $11.99 book.

This is the first book of Jennifer's I have read and I loved it! I couldn't put down once I got into it and am looking forward to more. What a wonderful story of two sisters and their grandmother, and beautifully written. I am a big Jodi Piccoult fan and now Jennifer Weiner!

I'd seen the movie so I knew how the story would turn out, yet this book was surprising in so many ways. The character of Maggie is much more rounded than was portrayed in the movie, as well as the grandmother. The sisters' love-hate relationship is drawn out wonderfully. I'll probably read this a second time--it was that good.
