Gaunt's Ghosts: First and Only

Gaunt's Ghosts: First and Only

THE STORY
In the war-torn future of the 41st millenium, the Sabbat Worlds Crusade has begun. With the massed ranks of the Imperial Guard hard-pressed by the evil forces of Chaos, mankind must prevail - whatever the cost in lives. Commissar Ibram Gaunt has vowed to lead the men of the Tanith First-and-Only safely through the scheming of rival regiments just as much as the lethal firepower of the enemy.

BLACK LIBRARY CLASSICS
It's been fifteen years since the first Black Library novel, First and Only, was published and in that time we've released hundreds of novels, eight New York Times bestsellers and won numerous awards.
To celebrate these achievements, we are introducing Black Library Classics, premium editions of some of Black Library's best loved titles complete with new introductions and striking new cover art.

Reviews
  • Very good commissar

First 40k book I have properly red, very much enjoyed the more grounded perspective in what can be a very intense large scale setting.

  • A Great Read

It’s a story told so well that it’s not really reading - it’s experiencing the story through the images the words create. No jarring dropout of imagination caused by clunky prose; instead, a sense of being caught up in the story settles on you from page one. It’s a good story told in a great way by an author who crafts characters to do the work of storytelling.

  • What a ride!

This is an amazing book for those that want to dip their toes into the deep space that is Warhammer 40k. The God Emperor approves this commissar and his beloved ghosts of Tanith.
