Reviews
  • Excellent

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this one at first but this is an excellent, fast-paced read that is hard to put down. Highly recommended.

  • It was okay…

Not Grishams best but definitely not his worst.

Great plot with a few, “No he didn’t” parts. But all in all a great read.

  • Room for improvement

Don’t recommend this one. Story kept me reading as I waited for it to come together. It never came together for me. He expected his father to blow up upon informing him-he didn’t. Their interaction was surprisingly undramatic after the buildup. The female lawyer Mike was supposed to be ferocious. She wasn’t. A strange unsolved murder of a trust fund kid and the suggestion of partner mutiny wasn’t enough information. I’m ok with some mystery at the end so the reader can draw their own conclusions but this one didn’t provide it. Grisham is an engaging author but I think there was room for much improvement on this one.

  • WORST John Grisham EVER!

Please do not waste your time. This book is a joke. Nothing is resolved at the end. A character escapes and we do not find out why?!? Ridiculous!
