I finished this book quickly because it pulled me in. I’ve also learned the importance of humility from this book. #BeHumble

I have always been an admirer of Mr. Wilde's writings. He was a superb writer, and witty. De Profundis is his crown jewel. His anguish often makes me feel sad and be lost in thoughts. Like he said,"he has nothing to declare but his genius".

Perfect read for a time in life when one's ego has ceased to protect and defend. When sorrow is the sea in which one must now swim. Wilde offers no less than redemption. (I want to reach back in time and thank him for this penetratingly frank work...and maybe even request a hug.) Christ, I do love people who are smarter than I am!
