  • Not worth the $0.09 a page price

I’ve read all the other books in this series and highly recommend them. However, this book was a significant disappointment. Asking $2.99 for only 33 pages is a pretty steep price for a story that reads like an outline to what should have been the real book. The synopsis details say the book should be 250 pages so this little bit of bait and switch definitely leaves you wondering if somehow the full book didn’t download properly. Unfortunately, no errors. That’s really all she wrote. ;-)

  • Perfect Ending to an Amazing Series

Lori Foster is just simply amazing and, with every new book that I read by her, I fall more and more in love. My love affair with her work began with the Men Who Walk The Edge of Honor series and those books will forever hold a special place in my heart. Dare, Trace, Jackson & Spencer are phenomenal characters and I will continue to swoon over them for many years to come! With What Chris Wants, my heart is content, complete & fulfilled. Finally we get the story that I have been waiting for since the beginning - Chris ♥ I have loved Chris Chapey’s character since we first met him. His quick wit, compassion, willingness to give, strength and complete devotion to the Alpha males he serves, make him so much more than the errand boy that he is perceived. He is the backbone of the operation, the heart and soul of the group and without him, they would be lost. I wanted and needed for him to get his HEA and I was very happy with what Ms. Foster delivered. I loved that the guys and their wives supported and helped him achieve his dream and hearts desire - their only want was for him to be happy. I must admit, I was a little apprehensive on how the M/M aspect of the story would be handled, I know that this isn’t normally a sub-genre the author writes in. However, my apprehension was not warranted, Ms, Foster wrote it beautifully and it fit the story perfectly! Great addition to the series although, it does bring a finality to it that I hate. I adore this series so much that I don’t want it to see it end. However, I am about quality over quantity and we definitely get quality with this series. Well done Ms. Foster, that finish landed you in 1st place!

  • Loved it.

I'm so happy Chris got his story, and where I understand why the author didn't make it explicit, or longer, I wish she would have. I would have loved not only seeing more of the characters I love so much, but seeing Chris and Matt's love blossom. This doesn't change the fact that this story, as I have come to expect from anything Lori Foster, was amazing. :)
