I was definitely hooked with wanting to know what happened to the bus. Who took the children? Will they be returned safe? Then after having more and more information revealed about the parents it left me wondering.. WHAT ARE THEIR SECRETS?? I thoroughly enjoyed this book. My main request is a book 2 that tells the aftermath of what happened… how did Cally explain her side of the story? What was the publics reaction? What was Reynolds wifes reaction? Did the kidnappers ever get caught? Did the police ever find the secret tunnel? So many unanswered questions

Thin characters and story.

While I really got into the story and found it a page turner, I’m a little disappointed in the motive for such an elaborate kidnapping. I also somehow figured out who The Visitor was early on, although I thought he might be the sole mastermind. I’m disappointed he literally got away with murder. As for the brother who died, as much as I disliked the character of Reynold, it was an accident and 100% self defense. Yes, what he did to the mother of the kidnappers was horrible, but to justify this kind of revenge just seemed a bit much. I’m just grateful the kids are all okay!
