Reviews
  • Fast read!

This was a fun and fabulous novel. Scary that the fictional UK during this tale mimics so much of what is happening in the states right now. The haves want more and more while the have nots are just struggling to survive. Leave it to the artists of all kinds to explain what is happening in the world. Money and power are destroying our planet and its people.

  • It was okay

I’m not really interested in the machinations of British politics, too much presented in story. Mr Allon seems to have lost his way since leaving Mossad.

  • Murder in Cornwall

Great story but predictable. Had to get the chopper as the character was threaded through out the story.

  • I am Old School Allon!

Good book but I miss the Mossad, and their players, and how they worked others into their adventures. Now it’s art and it’s complex intricacies. And more art built on the “Succession” and “ Industry” TV foundation. Back to Old School Allon and his teams please!

  • Gabriel Allon

I love Silva’s books! Especially the great Gabriel as a recurring character. BUT can he transition to an Agatha Christie role? Solving murders? This was a fun read but it lacked tension and texture. I’m hoping his next novel has Monsieur Allon back in his rightful place - the Mossad.
