This short story really sets the scene for the story to come. It all began with a wrong number in the Cage brothers chat. Interests sparks. The chemistry and attraction between Blakey and Aston jumps off the page. Then live gets in the way. Can’t wait for the next installment.

Swoony vibes! This quick novella will leave you craving for more as we are introduced to the Cage Family series. The new series will start with Blake and Aston story and with the tease on how they meet here I need more. For such a short read, it had all the drama, banter and romance that you can’t wait to get their full story.

I love the creative way the Cage siblings were introduced as well, with their personalities already beginning to emerge. I cannot wait for 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘙𝘶𝘭𝘦 to get answers and more of Aston and Bailey in January, 2025!!

I loved this little nugget. This novella is a cute and exciting introduction to the Cage Family series. The story is centered around Blake and Aston. I loved the way they meet. It’s funny but it also felt like it was meant to be. I also really enjoyed the interactions between the siblings. Aston and Blake are really likable characters. I enjoyed their banter and their flirting. Threw in a some drama and that ending and I’m hooked and all in. Bring on The Forever Rule! **4.5 stars**

Before I Knew is the perfect novella to start a new series from Carrie Ann Ryan. When Blakely is mistakenly added to a Cage family group chat she keeps chatting with one number. Aston Cage is juggling his family business, family drama and his feelings for the unknown number. They all come together to create a story that I was sucked into. I can’t wait for more for the Cage’s!
