Overview:
Sometimes, families need a helping hand…

Holidays are about family, love, and giving; but this Christmas, the Friessens are in for a rough holiday season.

Thirteen days before Christmas, a letter arrives in the mail—a letter that was never meant for Candy Friessen. When she opens it, she discovers a lie that rocks her world, and she begins to question everything she and Neil have created together, including his love for her and their family.

Seven days before Christmas, Candy’s heart is breaking. She makes plans to leave, but when a call one night alerts all the Friessens that Becky, their mother, is fighting for her life in the hospital, they rush to her bedside without a second thought. Faced with uncertainty, Brad, Neil, Jed, and their wives are together for Christmas, but there’s no happy celebration, no gifts piled under the tree.

And for Candy and Neil, once trust is destroyed, is the bond of family strong enough to keep them together?

  • Great Read

A Vow of Love, A Friessen Family Christmas (The Friessens: A New Beginning #4) was a great read by Lorhainne Eckhart. This Christmas seems as though it will be a tough holiday season for The Friessens. Only thirteen days before Christmas, Candy opens a letter that came in the mail that was never meant for her. The letter was for her husband, and she discovers a lie that could ruin everything for them. Her heart is breaking and she is considering leaving. That is until they get a call that Neil’s mother, Becky, is fighting for her life. They all go to be at her bedside along with Neil’s siblings and their families. I enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

  • A Vow of Love

I am new to this series but already love it. I have read this one and A Different kind of love. This one seems to follow it well. Like it tells a bit more of Candy and Neils story and what their family has gone through. Some parts make you want to cry but others bring such joy. Highly recommend tuis book.
