  • Spider-Man Comes Home!

I remember reading the JMS books right around the time the original Ultimate Spider-Man books came out and while the latter was what convinced me to read JMS’s run, it was worth it. While I have the individual trades-and I still have to get that JMS Omnibus-I’m glad I can read the start of this amazing run when I’m on the go. And JMS does a great job with story and character, along with John Romita Jr.’s artwork. So if you want some classic Spidey stories that feel contemporary-and have Peter Parker being an actual adult and not a man-child-then check this run out! 👍😀

  • Greatest, most original Spider-man story of the decade

JMS introduces new and original aspects of the mythology of Spider-man: powers and capabilities and where they come from and what they can lead to … which is the greatest new enemy character since Venom. A highly recommended must-read, as are other magnificent works by JMS like Midnight Nation and Rising Stars.
