Thomas Jefferson was born on April 13, 1743, in Shadwell, Virginia, United States. He was one of the America’s Founding Fathers, the third President of the United States and the principal author of the Declaration of Independence. He was a Democrat who accepted the principles of republicanism and the individual’s rights. He died on July 4, 1826, in Charlottesville, Virginia, United States.
In his life he wrote over sixteen thousand letters to different people, on different topics.
