Janardhan becomes Jordan, as he relentlessly pursues his love, at once pining away and accepting the absence of Heer in his life. At the end, as he spirals down the road of fame and fortune in his professional life, Jordan realizes that his and Heer’s story exists beyond the worldly, in his imagination, where the music is pure and the only drug needed is true love.
