Celebration Day

On December 10, 2007, Led Zeppelin took the stage at London's O2 Arena to headline a tribute concert for dear friend and Atlantic Records founder Ahmet Ertegun. What followed was a two-hour-plus tour de force of the band's signature blues-infused rock 'n' roll that instantly became part of the legend of Led Zeppelin. Founding members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were joined by Jason Bonham, the son of their late drummer John Bonham, to perform 16 songs from their celebrated catalog including landmark tracks "Whole Lotta Love," "Rock And Roll," "Kashmir" and "Stairway To Heaven." On 22 November 1981, in the middle of their mammoth American tour, the Rolling Stones arrived in Chicago. Long influenced by the Chicago blues, the band paid a visit to Muddy Waters’ club the Checkerboard Lounge to see the legendary bluesman perform. It didn’t take long before Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Ian Stewart were joining in on stage and later Buddy Guy and Lefty Dizz also played their part. It was a unique occasion that was fortunately captured and has been restored from the original footage, with the sound mixed and mastered by Bob Clearmountain.

The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert

On April 20th 1992, Roger Taylor, Brian May and John Deacon, the surviving members of Queen, took to the stage at Wembley Stadium for the start of one of the biggest events in rock history, which the band had organised to pay tribute to their former colleague – the incomparable Freddie Mercury. Queen were joined by some of the greatest musical talent in the world to celebrate Freddie’s life and work and to increase public awareness of AIDS, the disease that had prematurely ended his life the previous year. As well as being great entertainment, the concert raised a huge and still growing sum of money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust, a charity formed at the time whose charter is the relief of suffering from AIDS throughout the world. Now for the first time both halves of the concert are being made available on Digital video.

The Rolling Stones: From the Vault – Hampton Coliseum – Live In 1981

“From The Vault” is a new series of live concerts from The Rolling Stones archive which are getting their first official release. “Hampton Coliseum – Live In 1981” is the first title in this series. The Rolling Stones American Tour in 1981 was the most successful tour of that year taking a then record $50 million dollars in ticket sales. The tour was in support of the critically and commercially successful “Tattoo You” album. There were fifty dates on the tour which ran from Philadelphia at the end of September through to Hampton, Virginia on the 18th and 19th of December. The show on December 18th, which was also Keith Richards’ birthday, was the first ever music concert to be broadcast on television as a pay-per-view event. The footage has now been carefully restored and the sound has been newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain for this first official release of the show.

The Rolling Stones - From the Vault: Roundhay Park, Live in Leeds 1982

“From The Vault” is a series of live concerts from The Rolling Stones archive which are getting their first official release. This film is taken from their performance at Roundhay Park in Leeds, England on 25 July 1982. This show was the last concert on their 1982 European Tour in support of 1981’s acclaimed “Tattoo You” album, which would be their last live tour for seven years. About half of the “Tattoo You” album is included in the set, including the hit single “Start Me Up, ” alongside classic tracks from across their career. The footage has now been carefully restored and the sound has been newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain to make this the perfect addition to any Rolling Stones fan’s collection.

In Concert With the London Symphony Orchestra

In 1969 Deep Purple premiered Jon Lord’s groundbreaking “Concerto For Group And Orchestra” at the Royal Albert Hall. Thirty years later, in September 1999, Deep Purple and the London Symphony Orchestra returned to the same venue for the concerto’s second performance. The centrepiece of the concert is of course the concerto itself but it is preceded by a short set of other Jon Lord tracks, songs from Roger Glover’s “Butterfly Ball” (sung by Ronnie James Dio) and Ian Paice’s jazz arrangement of the early Purple classic “Wring That Neck”. Following the concerto are five Deep Purple classics culminating with “Smoke On The Water”.

The Rolling Stones: From the Vault – L.A. Forum – Live in 1975

“From The Vault” is a new series of live concerts from The Rolling Stones archive which are getting their first official release. “L. A. Forum – Live In 1975” is the second title in this series. The Rolling Stones’ “Tour Of The Americas ‘75” was the band’s first tour with new guitarist Ronnie Wood. Even before the dates started there were dramatic scenes in New York City at the official tour announcement when the band unexpectedly turned up on a flatbed truck to play “Brown Sugar”. After a couple of low key warm-up shows in Louisiana the tour took in 44 dates between the 3rd June and the 8th August 1975. They settled into the L. A. Forum for a five night stint from July 9th to 13th and this concert film features the show from July 12th. The footage has now been carefully restored and the sound has been newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain for this first official release of the show.

In December last year, U2’s groundbreaking iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour returned to the French capital for two very special shows. This concert film captures all the energy and excitement of the band’s critically acclaimed live show - “U2 reinvent the arena show” (Rolling Stone). Filmed on 31 cameras, in front of an audience of 18,000 fans, U2 – iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE – Live in Paris puts viewers inside the Paris arena with Bono, Adam Clayton, The Edge and Larry Mullen Jr, and features a guest performance from Eagles of Death Metal. The Book of Souls: Live Chapter

This live recording comprises 15 songs captured during 'The Book Of Souls World Tour,' which covered 39 countries across six continents during 2016 and 2017, and was seen by over two million fans. Produced by Tony Newton and Iron Maiden founder member and bass player Steve Harris, the album is based on this year's set list and is a faithful record of the epic show, including six songs from 'The Book Of Souls,' the band's most recent studio album, along with many other classics and fan favourites.

Eric Clapton: Unplugged Deluxe

Eric Clapton was already an acknowledged master of the electric guitar in January 1992 when he traded his signature Stratocaster for an acoustic Martin to record Unplugged. The live album captured the legendary guitarist, backed by a small band, performing acoustic versions of his own songs and several blues standards. The original program features 15 performances, with Clapton reinterpreted songs from his rich catalog, including "Layla" - completely reimagined as a shuffle - from his time with Derek and the Dominos, "Running On Faith" and "Old Love" from 1989's Journeyman, and the hit single "Tears In Heaven," a song he wrote after the passing of his young son Conor the previous year. Much of the album showcases blues songs Clapton grew up listening to, like Bo Diddley's "Before You Accuse Me." Big Bill Broonzy's "Hey Hey," Leadbelly's "Alberta" and Robert Johnson's "Malted Milk."This version of the program contains a newly restored version of the original broadcast, which aired August 25, 1992 on MTV. For the first time ever, fans will also have the opportunity to see more than an hour of previously-unreleased footage recorded during the pre-show rehearsal.
