In the rural areas of Maharashtra lies a peaceful village called Mangrul. One day Keshav (Girish Kulkarni), a village youth, sees lord Dattatrey (Datta) in his dreams while taking a nap under a tree. He makes a hue and cry in the village saying God made an appearance for him. Anna (Dilip Prabhavalkar), most respected figure of Mangrul, advises him against announcing such personal matter as it’s a question of faith. However, it is too late as a journalist (Kishor Kadam) sensationalizes the news about Lord Dattatrey making an appearance in Mangrul. There is now a demand for a Dattatrey temple. Bhau (Nana Patekar), a political activist, doesn’t approve it as he wants the funds to be used for better purposes but he seems helpless. The temple is built and the village becomes a holy place. Mangrul goes through a 360 degree change due to commercialization but nobody is complaining except Anna. Soon, blinded by the commercial progress, God is forgotten. Every village has a right to progress commercially but how ethical it is to use a temple and its God to achieve it? The question is raised by Writer Girish Kulkarni & Director Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni’s latest offering ‘Deool’, without being judgemental. While it does this, the audience is treated to some quality cinematic experience which is enlightening.

Judge Singh LLB

Judge Singh LLB is a Punjabi courtroom drama film starring Ravinder Grewal, Chandan Prabhakar, Surbhi Mahendru and Sardar Sohi. Revolves around the judicial system of India which is under the control of corrupt leaders.

Vikram Vedha

On one side is the righteous cop Vikram, who believes in a clear demarcation between good and evil and sees things clearly as black and white. To balance him out, on the other side of the spectrum is the mysterious gangster Vedha, who is worldly wise and does not believe anything to be just simple black and white. The movie is the powerful clash between these two ideologies, represented by two powerhouse performers Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathy. The other characters in the movie form part of the intricate plot that intertwines these two spectrums.

The Black Prince (Hindi/Punjabi)

The movie is about the fascinating true story of the last King of the mighty Kingdom of Punjab. The King, Maharaja Duleep Singh, was placed on the throne at the age of five only to be robbed of his throne by a bloody treason at the hands of trusted courtiers. He was then torn from his mother and taken to England by the British at age fifteen. While in England, he was introduced to Queen Victoria, who took an immediate liking to him, calling him "The Black Prince". He was indoctrinated into Christianity and baptized, changing his life forever. Meeting his mother again after thirteen years, the Maharaja awakens to the realities of his former life in Punjab. He then begins the arduous journey to regain all that was lost and re-embrace the faith of his birth, Sikhism. Torn between his two worlds, The Black Prince begins a lifelong struggle to regain his Kingdom. It takes him on an extraordinary journey across the world.

Manje Bistre

Manje Bistre is a Punjabi film which is a family drama featuring Gippy Grewal, Sonam Bajwa, Dilpreet Dhillon, Jaggi Singh in pivotal roles, along with many other Punjabi artists adding their unique bits to make this movie an all rounded entertainer. It is a light hearted flick which revolves around a Punjabi wedding, with elements of romance and comedy.

Theri

Joseph (Vijay) lives in a small town of Kerala with his 6-year old daughter (Baby Nainika as Nivi) and his close ally Rajendran. Annie (Amy Jackson) is Nivi's class teacher who develops an interest over Joseph. This peaceful life of Joseph is shaken when a group of local goons from Kerala crosses their path. They try to attack his daughter as a part of their revenge. Left with no option, he comes out of his shell showing his true face to the world. He thrashes the goons. Annie is shocked to see this. Vijay reveals his past to Annie. As one leads to other Vijay's past starts haunting him again. How he raises back and faces the evils forms in the rest of the movie.

Kabali

Kabali, a revolutionary who fights for the betterment of his people in a foreign land, is falsely implicated and thrown behind bars. When he returns after his prison term, he starts a search for his wife and ends up confronting those who were the reason behind his miseries. What follows is a tale of revenge, emotion and payback.

Cosmic Sex (Unrated Director's Cut)

The film revolves around a young man Kripa who is running away from a night of sex and violence when he meets a woman ascetic, a Sadhavi, who takes him on a journey of discovering the self through sexual practice. The film deals with Dehotathva (worshipping through one's own body) which uses sexual energy for spiritual awakening.

Fandry

A mesmeric force pulls Jabya onto the other side. The rarest of rare Black Sparrow, he is told, is the cure to his problem. The hypnotic spell of the sparrow makes him wander relentlessly. Mukhtiar Chadha

Jatt James Bond

What are the two things that make the world go around? Well, love comes first, and money follows. Whether it is the Love for your partner, companion and your family or for your friend’s . . . man can go to any extent to seek love. This forms the crux of the film . . . A story of a village simpleton, Shinda (Gippy Grewal), who is a school bus driver in love with the local bank manager's sister Laali (Zareen Khan). Her brother is strictly against their relationship because of their class differences and status. They won't be able to get married unless Shinda manages to buy his own house. A quick idea for quick buck is to attempt a robbery but instead he gets caught by the local MLA who claims the loot.

Me Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy

Dinkar Maruti Bhosale (Sachin Khedekar) represents thousands of 'Marathis' who feel they have lost their identity in cosmopolitan Mumbai. He feels Mumbai is in Maharashtra but there is no Maharashtra left in Mumbai. He always complains about the lack of respect a Marathi receives in Mumbai, feels he is victimized everywhere because he is a Marathi, not realizing that he himself has brought this situation upon himself. Matters go from bad to worse and in a state of sheer frustration he gets up one day cursing himself for being born a Marathi. This outburst of Dinkar reaches Pratapgad, igniting the spirit of Shivaji Maharaj (Mahesh Manjrekar). Now he faces a seething Shivaji Maharaj, who is furious at him for his shallow thinking. Dinkar’s thinking is blamed for the sorry state of the native community. "Before blaming other communities for your short comings, look within and see if you have done anything to keep the Marathi pride intact," he roars. Does Dinkar realize his mistakes and rise up to command respect while not demanding it?

Agam soon realizes that his brothers are turning down proposals for marriage because they want him to marry first. He then decides to carry out a trick to get his brothers to move forward in their lives and get married.

The word Shareek in Urdu means partner but in Punjabi we see a complete reinterpretation of this word. It has now become a term for cousins and more disturbingly enemies. Shareek the movie is about the age old feud over land that plagues Punjabi families. With all the emotion, romance, thrill, and action, this movie addresses the menace strongly and exposes the undercurrent.

Uttama Villain

Uttama Villain, Kamal Haasan (as Manoranjan) is a superstar, who realises that he is counting his final days due to a brain tumour. So he suddenly decides to return the advance taken from a producer and instead he wants to do a comedy film with his mentor and guru (K Balachander) as his final wish. This is big news that comes as a shock to everyone, including his family and manager. How Kamal Haasan goes about it, forms the rest of the story.

Maari

A local rowdy whose meteoric rise in the colony has made him win some peer jealousy. A police officer tries to trick his way around to corner the goon. 25 Kille

The Punjabi Social Drama revolves around the lives of four Jatt brothers and the importance of the ownership of land in the Jatt Community. With none of their parents alive, the only thing for these four siblings to value is their togetherness. To earn a living for the family, Saudagar Singh(Gugu Gill), the eldest brother is a horse dealer and Bhola, the second brother keeps himself occupied with contract farming on a little piece of land. Things take a turn when they receive a letter informing them that they have 25 acres of ancestral land. They decide to take possession of it but face severe opposition from a ruthless feudal lord Bachittar Singh (Yograj Singh) who claim the land is their property. Thus, a struggle begins between the brothers and the feudal lord over the possession of the land. Why does Bachittar Singh desperately wants the land? How do the four Jatt brothers transform and fight against all odds in their lives?

Gabhricha Paus

The plot of the movie is based on simple aspirations, the undying urge in the human race to live and to live against all odds. The film is about the life of a farmer Kisna (Girish Kulkarni), who is trying to get a good crop in the drought-stricken Vidarbha region, which has been notorious for farmer suicides. It also allegorically tells about how lack of information and education amongst the farmers, can ruin them, despite their indefatigable spirit. After, the debt-ridden neighbour Bhaskar Deshmukh commits suicide, amongst many other farmers of the region, Kisna's wife Alka (Sonali Kulkarni) observes Kisna's aloofness and interprets that Kisna is contemplating suicide too. She asks their 6-year old son Dinu (Aman Attar) to keep a watch on Kisna, and report any irregular behavior. Kisna is however imbued by the thoughts of the arrival of the Monsoon.

Vada Chennai

A proficient carrom player sets foot in the world of crime and joins forces with local gangsters to settle their feuds. However, he decides to take them down when they plan to wipe out his locality.

Haani

Haani is a romantic saga spanning two different generations of a family. It tells the story of love, friendship and honour immortalized by commitment. The film simultaneously narrates 2 plots. Ranjit (Harbhajan) and Jagga (Sarabjit) are best friends in 1964 where Ranjit falls for Sukhaan (Mehreen) and loves her to death. Another plot involves Harman (Anuj) and Preet's (Sonia) love story in 2013 and Tony (Rupan Bal) who has a similar role to Jagga in the movie. Somehow fate connects these love stories together.

Double Di Trouble

Double Di Trouble, based on Comedy of Errors, Shakespeare's well-known play, takes a Desi avatar when father-son pair discover their mirror images in a different city. The riot of laughter begins when the people around this duplicate duo keep confusing between the two. The situation gets further confounded when the duo tries to put their own logic behind the new faces behaving like old pals. Hold your horses before you jump to conclusions. This is one of the morals of the film. For the rest, come and die with laughter and witness the legendary Dharmendra's first full-fledged foray in a Punjabi film alongside the reigning superstar, Gippy Grewal.

Love Steaks

Clemens starts a new job as a massage therapist in a luxury hotel. He is shy but sensitive and likes to work with his guests’ energies. The ladies he massages fall for his hands and make advances to him that throw him off balance. Lara, who works in the kitchen, tries it the hard way. She shakes Clemens up and brings him out of his shell. She is the knife, he is the spoon. Opposites attract. She tries to rid him of hisfears, he tries to rid her of her addiction. Clemens finds Lara at the beach, carries her home and cleans the vomit from her face. They light boats on fire, take a nightdive into the hotel pool and drink coffee at the laundry cart so the fox won't find them. Clemens plays the guitar and Lara dancesto it, although she can't. An unlikely couple falls in love. Dirty, bloody, great and honest.

Needhi Singh

This movie is inspired by the true story of a young woman in rural Punjab. It tells the story of a young girl Needhi Singh and how she went rogue against all the corrupt and sexually abusive men in her village. The movie starts out on a light note, portraying the warmth and the simplicity of rural life. All is well until suddenly a bunch of hostile goons corner Needhi and her friend in an abandoned street and forcefully assault Needhi's friend right in front of her eyes and also beat Needhi up when she doesn't comply. Scarred for life, she tries to file a police report, only to be refused by the malicious cop. This is when Needhi understands that the entire network of abusers in her village are backed up by politicians and police officers who go all the way up the hierarchy. A free spirit by nature, and after being let down by the law, Needhi is forced to take to violence and goes on a rampage to kill every such offender and oppressor in her hometown. Will she be successful in cleansing the society or perish trying, under the law?

Naughty Jatts

A Punjabi Romantic Comedy directed by Pankaj Batra, revolves around Simmy (Neeru Bajwa), a young bubbly girl with a strict upbringing whose dream is to become a singer one day. Her school friends Rocky (Aryan Babbar) and Laali (Binnu Dhillon) are madly in love with Simmy but are unable to show their feelings to her. There arrives charming Balwinder (Roshan Prince) from village, a good singer and he too develops a thing for her. A contest is devised by Simmy, which shall decide her to-be groom by winning the singing contest and all three suitors begin to plan their own tricks to win the contest. Now, who will win Simmy's heart, forms the rest of the plot. A non-stop entertainer and a spree of LOL, will continue to scintillate your senses.

Jatts in Golmaal

Sunny (Arya Babbar), a young Punjabi boy wishes to travel to Canada in search of better job prospects at any cost. He gets in touch with a Crook Agent Jugnu (Gurpreet Guggi), who cons him in a visa fraud. On the other hand, Titoo Don (Binnu Dhillon) is suffering from a cardiac problem and is in search of a donor for heart transplant. Sunny agrees to donate his heart in exchange for money, unaware of what would happen to him. What follows is comedy of errors with crazy confusion while Balli Chacha (Jaswinder Bhalla) and his friend Jugnu try to save Sunny's heart and life.

Kaththi

Kathiresan, who escapes from prison, accidentally meets his lookalike, Jeeva, who gets shot by criminals. Kathiresan masquerades as Jeeva to save himself, but it turns him into a crusader.

Tiger

Jant (Sippy Gill) and his friends Tull and Bittu are young boys growing up in the remote village of Jungpura in Punjab. Their desire to earn easy money soon leads them to be working for a local gangster, Bhaiya. Bhaiya deals in drugs and uses these youngsters to expand his business. During one of their drug smuggling sprees, the trio gets caught by the police. Two of them are released without an exception for Jant, who finds no one to his rescue in the hour of need. He is convicted for fifteen long years which proves to be a time of reflection and transformation for him. He is a man now and is hungry for revenge. He swears to put an end to the evil business of drug dealing that is rampantly being carried out by Dilbaugh and Bhaiya. After his release, he comes across a Canadian girl, Ekum (Ihana Dhillon), who ignites in him, the courage to fight against the gangsters and to bring back the lost peace of the village. Jant is now the 'Tiger' that is on the lookout for his prey. Will he and Ekum be able to redeem the lost glory of their city?

Lock

'Lock' narrates the story of four different people and of how fate plays its part in crossing their paths in a single night. Gill is a narrow-minded father who has returned from the UAE and Bhola is an autorickshaw driver who dreams of settling in Dubai with Gill. Harpal is a struggling writer in the Punjab Film Industry and when a motor mechanic comes into the picture, the plot is all set to stage a night that changes all their lives forever.

Bey Yaar

From the makers of "Kevi Rite Jaish", brings to you coming-of-age Indian Gujarati film "Bey Yaar" directed by Abhishek Jain and produced by Nayan Jain. The film is about friendship between the two friends who make a desperate attempt to get rich by false means, putting their moral values at stake and end up losing their pride and dignity. Later, they embrace the wrong path to set things right and snatch back what was rightfully theirs.

Motor Mitraan Di

The story revolves around the three brothers who whilst going about to earn their daily bread find themselves embroiled in a murder which links back to the headquarters of a fake God-man. As the story progresses, it is revealed how the fake God-man used the garb of religion to disguise his corruption and criminal activities. The film is a brave attempt to caution people against such elements in society and how best to defeat those who use religion for their vested interests.

Massu Engira Maasilamani

Massu Engira Maasilamani, Surya and his friend Premji are two local conmen who loot some hefty amount from a dreaded gang. They meet with a major accident while returning with the money. After recovering from the accident, Surya learns that he has acquired the special ability to see ghosts and spirits. A few ghosts approach Surya and asks him for certain favours, one among them is another Surya (with the Ceylon slang). After having lost his money in the accident, Surya decides to help the spirits and as a return favour, the spirits help him to earn some quick money.

What the Jatt

What the Jatt, is a nerve tickling adventurous comedy film about a young aspiring actor Raj and his best friend Fateh, who hail from a village in Punjab. During their efforts to achieve their dreams they find themselves in hilarious situations that lead to a chain of unexpected events. One mishap after another leads them to posing as detectives, to film makers to what not, creating mayhem of confusion and laugh riots. But like true Jatts, they overcome all challenges and emerge as winners!

Rajathandhiram

Three Friends make a living out of conning people for a few thousands and are quite good at it. When one of them falls for a girl, he steps up to nail a big con job, which sets off a chain of events.

Ondu Motteya Kathe

Janardhan, a 28 year old Kannada Lecturer from Mangalore who is quite an introvert comes to know from an astrologer that he would attain sanyasa (embrace asceticism) if he doesn't get married within a year. Hearing this Janardhan is now in a situation of trouble & desperation as he has never had a decent conversation with females until now in his life & all the proposals his family has seen (received) also has gone in vain as he doesn't look great, physically. Janardhan continues his search for a beautiful bride. In this journey he faces various situations & conflicts (rejections) which in turn gives him a chance to revisit his inner core & experience his self discovery. Does Janardhan find his bride or does he attain spiritual path? forms the rest of the story.

Anegan

Amyra Dastur is a young game developer and she often gets weird thoughts about her past life, doctors call it as a illusion caused by her job stress while she believes in reincarnation. To Amyra's surprise, she meets everyone in her past life including (Dhanush) whom she loved in her past life. Now the big question is, which part is reality and which is Amyra's imagination?

Sanai Choughade

After, Sayee’s (Sai Tamhankar) mother passed away, she is left with Urmila (Shilpa Tulaskar) and Shrikant (Tushar Dalvi) who take full responsibility to get her married the traditional Indian way. But there is a small problem as they themselves had opted for love marriage and are unaware of the circus of arranged marriage. ‘Kande Pohe’ is a new way of matrimonial search, it turns out to be the answer to Sayee's problems. A prospective groom is ready to marry her but a shocking revelation brings everything to standstill. A light hearted family entertainer full of twists and turns which forces everyone to introspect at the same time takes a sarcastic look at the conventional arranged marriage system.

Kadambari

Kadambari Devi enters the Tagore household as philanderer Jyotindranath's wife at the age of nine, only to find herself lonely and sidelined. This lays the foundations for her bond with young Rabindranath — a relationship that grows with them till others start noticing their closeness. It kind of begins and ends with Kadambari Devi (Konkona). Gyanodanandini(Titas Bhowmik) manages to depict her subtle romance with Jyotindranath and her own ego clash with Kadambari with elan. Tagore shared a good bond with his sister-in-law. In fact, there was a lot of talk regarding the relationship they shared as Kadambari committed suicide soon after his wedding.

Mundeyan Ton Bachke Rahin

The title of the film is inspired from the 90s worldwide Bhangra hit by Panjabi MC – “Mundian To Bach Ke Rahi”,even featuring the crowned Miss India Universe 2008 model turn actress ‘Simran Kaur Mundi’ in the lead. A Punjabi romantic comedy about two childhood best friends, Prince (Roshan Prince) and Jassi (Jassi Gill) who suffer a setback in love at a very early age. They grow up turning into serial daters cum heart-breakers. Things take a turn when both Prince and Jassi fall for the same girl, Simran (Simran Mundi). They both go all out competing with each other as they vie for her attention, trying to impress her with their antics and they will not stop until they find out who she has fallen for.

Joseph

Following the death of his wife, a retired police officer who is known for his investigative prowess, unexpectedly gets pulled into a criminal case.

Sakalakala Vallavan

Anjali and Jayam Ravi are in love with each other and decide to get married. When everything is all set for their wedding, in a twist, Jayam Ravi is forced to marry Trisha. Thanks to their differences, their marriage never fructifies and they often end up quarrelling with each other. Realizing that their marriage is leading them nowhere, they decide to file a divorce. The film then leads us to a mindless melodrama where Anjali and Trisha are made to represent two different parties, belonging to Soori and Jayam Ravi respectively, at a local election. Whether Jayam Ravi and Trisha find a way to make their marriage work or will Jayam Ravi revive his lost love with Anjali is the rest of the movie.

U Turn

From the acclaimed director, Pawan Kumar of 'Lucia' fame comes another venture, U-Turn, which is a supernatural thriller circling around the life of a journalism intern Rachana (Shraddha Srinath). Rachana interning at The Indian Express goes about investigating traffic violations on a flyover for an article with the help of her journalist boyfriend Aditya (Dileep Kumar). During her research, she finds out the reason behind the accidents on the flyover and decides to meet one of the culprits responsible for the traffic violation. However, the turn of the events puts her in the seat of a suspect for the murder of the same person she wanted to meet. Despite the senior inspector's distrust, Rachana finds sub-inspector, Nayak (Roger Narayan) who believes her and decides to help in the investigation. They both then find out that all the traffic violators on the flyover have committed suicide. It is now Rachana and Nayak's aim to continue their search for truth.

Manithan

Shakthi (Udhayanidhi) is an unsuccessful young lawyer who is the laughing stock of his family and colleagues. The one person who believes in him is his longtime girlfriend Priya (Hansika Motwani). After many failures in Chennai just as he decides to go back home he meets Vijay (Krishna Kumar) who wants him to go for a public litigation against a drunk billionaire who mows down and kills six platform dwellers in his car and escapes the law with the help of famed criminal lawyer Aadhiseshan (Prakash Raj). The rest of the screenplay deals with how Shakthi overcomes the mighty Aadhiseshan.

Kkoli: A Journey of Love

In Jingpur, a small village in North Bengal, Shankar is an orphan while Kkoli stays with her mother. Both of them are the best of friends. Shankar even helps them financially and Kkoli starts going to school. By the time she finishes school, she realizes Shankar is more than a friend to her. However how do the villagers react? Orange Mittai

The film opens with the death anniversary of Sathya's (Ramesh Thilak) father. Having lost his father exactly a year ago, Sathya a paramedic, receives a call from an elderly person, who lets him know that he requires an ambulance as soon as possible. Sathya, along with another paramedic, rush to the old man's house in an ambulance and helps Kailasam (Vijay Sethupathi) to board the vehicle. In the process, he learns that the old man isn't fighting for his life as claimed by him earlier, but he is a heart patient nevertheless. As these three men begin their journey in the ambulance, Kailasam's grumpy and obstinate nature causes trouble to the paramedics and the course of their journey changes drastically.

Saadey CM Saab

Saadey CM Saab is a political satire that shows the state of Punjab in all its 'glory as an inefficient state', due to its inherent corruption, internal politics, and above all, an incapable Chief Minister. Things take a wild turn when the Chief Minister mysteriously dies, and the elections are re-held to appoint a replacement. The story revolves around three youngsters, Yudhveer, Dimpy and Inder, who are initially apprehensive about the idea of politics but are plagued by the current situation and contest in the elections for CM. The couple left back the only child they had who grew up alone. After 16 years of her parent's death she receives a letter from her father who confesses about him being innocent. Shocked by this news the girl sets out to find out the truth behind the story and why her father was framed. She appointed a private investigator to solve the case and the investigator finally solved the mystery in a unique way.
